EU gives France warning on Roma

France and the European Commission have been at loggerheads over the French government's deportation of hundreds of Roma migrants from Romania and Bulgaria.

The Commission said Paris had failed to respect European rules on freedom of movement.

It has given the French another two weeks to change their policy, saying that if they fail to do so, it will start a process that could eventually see France referred to the European Court of Justice.

James Robbins reports.
