Amanda Knox 'looking forward to release' says mother
Edda Mellas, Amanda Knox's mother, has told ABC's Good Morning America her daughter was looking forward to ''the truth coming out'' and ''being released'' from prison.
The 23-year-old American is trying to overturn her conviction, after being found guilty of the killing in Perugia in 2007 of British student Meredith Kercher.
She was sentenced to 26 years in prison and her former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, was jailed for 25 years for the murder.
