Italy struggles with Tunisian refugees

Italian authorities are struggling to cope with an influx of refugees escaping political upheaval in Tunisia.

Thousands have arrived at the tiny island of Lampedusa in the last week, prompting the Italian government to appeal to the European Union for aid.
