Pope John Paul II beatification draws thousands to Rome

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe is among the hundreds of thousands of people gathering in Rome to celebrate the beatification of Pope John Paul II.

Some have questioned the speed in which the Church is endeavouring to have the late pontiff declared a full saint, following his death just six years ago.
