Greece: France and Germany call for new rescue package

After days of instability on the financial markets and riots on the streets of Athens this week, the leaders of Germany and France say a new financial rescue package for Greece should be agreed as soon as possible.

Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy were speaking just hours after a new Greek cabinet was sworn in to deal with the crisis.
