Denmark's new customs controls plans criticised

Denmark has implemented a controversial plan to strengthen customs controls, despite warnings that they could break European Union rules guaranteeing freedom of movement.

The Danish government says the aim is to fight crime, but critics say the real intention is to reduce immigration.
