Fuel pumping operation starts on cruise ship

Workers have started the operation to pump fuel off the Costa Concordia.

The ship is carrying about 1.9m litres of fuel in 13 tanks.

It ran aground off the Tuscan coast on 13 January with 4,200 people on board.

Fifteen people are known to have died in the tragedy.
