Divers inspect cruise ship amid fuel leak fears

Divers have continued to monitor the wreck of the Costa Concordia cruise ship amid fears of a fuel leak.

The Italian Port Authority said bad weather had reduced the effectiveness of oil booms, and an oily film had leaked into the bay.

Meanwhile, the last person to be rescued has described how he pounded on a wall with a frying pan to alert rescuers.

Manrico Giampedroni, the ship's purser, waited 36 hours before being rescued from the belly of the ship.

He has been released from hospital in Grosseto, Italy, where he was treated for injuries.
