Sarkozy: French school shootings are a 'national tragedy'
French President Nicolas Sarkozy has said the deaths of three children and a teacher at a Jewish school in the French city of Toulouse are a "national tragedy".
Monday's attack happened as children and their parents were arriving at the school, in the Jolimont area of the city.
A teacher at the school, believed to be aged 30, and his two children, aged three and six, are reported to have been killed by a gunman on a scooter.
Mr Sarkozy said: "I can not accept the massacre of children inside a Jewish school".
