Spain's jobless hunt for jobs 'through friends and on street'

Unemployed people in Madrid have been giving their reaction after Spain's credit rating was downgraded.

One man said he thought his studies would help him find a job but now he was looking for work through friends.

A woman queuing up at the same job centre said: "I keep looking and looking. I've taken anything that's come up but there's hardly anything.

Anything to live day to day. Because I'm single, I've got a daughter who's studying. Now, I'm almost on the street."
