Syriza says no to Greek coalition plan

The Greek President, Karolos Papoulias, has held a meeting with the leaders of Greece's three main political parties in a last-ditch attempt to broker a deal and form an emergency government.

Following the meeting, the leader of the radical left party Syriza, Alexis Tsipras, re-interated his position that he would not join or support any coalition government, which backed the current bailout terms.
