Radovan Karadzic acquitted of one genocide count

The former Bosnian Serb leader, Radovan Karadzic, has been acquitted of one of the two genocide counts he faced at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the Hague.

However judges refused to dismiss 10 other charges, including some relating to his alleged involvement in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.

Karadzic denies all the charges.
