Reaction from people in Rome to Berlusconi sentence

The former Prime Minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi, has been sentenced to a year in prison for tax fraud.

Prosecutors said he bought the rights to American films at inflated prices as a way of reducing his tax bill.

But Mr Berlusconi is unlikely to serve his jail term. He has described the sentence as judicial harassment.

He is expected to appeal, a process that could take several years. There was a mixed reaction to the news on the streets of Rome.
