The Greek parliament has approved an austerity budget for next year.

The second package of savings to be voted through in less than a week. The prime minster, Antonis Samaras, said he hoped these sacrifices would be the last.

The former Greek MP and economist Elena Panaritis explained why this vote will be unpopular amongst many in Greece.
