Double Swiss train crash: 17 people injured

Seventeen people have been injured in a double train crash in northern Switzerland during rush hour, according to police.

The accident happened near the station at Neuhausen-am-Rheinfall shortly before 0800 (0700 GMT) between a train travelling from Winterthur and another from Schaffhausen.

The BBC's Imogen Foulkes said the trains crashed side on, with the engine of one train crashing into the carriages of another.
