Cardinals prepare for papal conclave

Roman Catholic cardinals from all over the world have voted to begin their conclave on Tuesday in order to elect a new Pope.

115 cardinals are eligible to take part in the secret election, which will be held in the Sistine Chapel.

Preparations are now underway, including the installation of the chimney which will reveal the white smoke to announce that a decision has been made.
