Pope Francis on Church for poor, and his choice of name
Pope Francis has called for a "poor Church, for the poor" in an address to journalists at the Vatican.
The new pontiff also explained his choice of name, crediting the Emeritus Archbishop of Sao Paulo, Cardinal Claudio Hummes, who urged him not to forget the poor when his election was confirmed.
Francis of Assisi was a 12th Century saint who represented "poverty and peace".
