Pussy Riot member 'more mature' after time in prison

The father of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova - a Pussy Riot member jailed after performing a 'punk prayer' protest at Moscow's main cathedral last year - has described how her time in prison has changed her.

Last week, she was denied parole from her two-year sentence in a penal colony south-east of Moscow.

Andrei Tolokonnikova described his daughter as "one of Russia's most famous prisoners".

He told Rafael Saakov of the BBC's Russian Service what his daughter had learnt from her time in prison.
