Turkey protests: Clashes rage in Istanbul's Besiktas

Hundreds of protesters have returned to the streets in Istanbul after two days of unrest that have seen more than 1,700 arrests.

Largely peaceful protesters waved flags in Istanbul's Taksim Square but clashes between protesters and police broke out near the prime minister's office.

The BBC's Ben Thompson describes Sunday evening's clashes.
