G8 summit: Obama and Putin admit Syria differences

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has come under pressure from western leaders at the G8 summit to agree a joint statement on Syria or face isolation.

After talks with his US counterpart Barack Obama, both men acknowledged their differences but said they shared a common desire to stop the bloodshed.

On Tuesday the G8 leaders will use the final day of the summit to try and get an agreement on international tax avoidance. Bridget Kendall reports.
