'We thought Srebrenica would be safe'

Hasan Nuhanovic survived the Srebrenica massacre in which 8,000 Bosniak men and boys were killed by Bosnian Serb forces over five days.

Eighteen years on, he says he still hopes for justice in the Hague.

He told the BBC how he and his family had thought Srebrenica would be safe.

But although he was able to get into the UN peace keepers' compound, his parents and brother were not allowed to stay inside.

"This is how I lost my family 18 years ago," he said.
