Cannes raid: Kronometry watch shop robbed

Armed men have robbed a luxury watch store in Cannes, just days after gems worth 103m euros ($136m; £89m) were stolen from a nearby hotel.

Two robbers threatened staff at a Kronometry store with a grenade and a gun before escaping with about 40 watches.

Sunday's robbery took place at the Carlton hotel and was one of the biggest thefts in recent times in Europe.
