Court upholds Berlusconi sentence for tax evasion

Italy's Supreme Court has upheld the prison sentence given to former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for tax fraud.

After several previous trials, this marks the first time the media mogul has definitely been convicted of a crime.

Mr Berlusconi called the sentence "baseless" and his lawyers described the ruling as "unjust".
