World Cup 2022: Fifa taskforce launched on Qatar dates
Football's world governing body, Fifa, is setting up a commission to consider whether the 2022 World Cup in Qatar should be switched to winter because of extreme summer temperatures.
The commission will consult football officials, medical experts, broadcasters and sponsors, before reporting back to the executive committee.
At the end of a two-day meeting in Zurich, Fifa president Sepp Blatter also confirmed Asian Football Confederation president Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim al-Khalifa would head the taskforce.
