Olympic flame handed to Russia

The Olympic flame has ended its relay around Greece and has been handed over to the hosts of the 2014 winter Games, Russia.

The 22nd Winter Olympics will begin in Sochi on 7 February, but the event has already come under fire from human rights activists who criticise Russia for passing controversial legislation seen as anti-gay.
