Police seize Roma girl, 15, on school trip to deport her

A row has erupted in France over the treatment of a Roma girl, who was detained by police on a school trip so that she could be expelled as an illegal immigrant.

The 15-year-old girl and her family were returned to Kosovo after their asylum application was rejected.

The incident happened earlier this month, but was made public this week.
