Stranded on a ferry: 'Injured people air-lifted to safety'

Heavy rain and strong winds are disrupting road, rail and sea travel in parts of the UK on one of the busiest travel days of the year.

Hundreds of passengers on board the MV Cap Finistere were heading to Spain but after anchoring off the coast of Brittany for some hours waiting for the storm to pass, it has now docked in Brest and passengers are disembarking.

Catriona Koris told BBC News about the journey.
