UK weather: Trains disrupted with wind blowing trees on line

Heavy rain and gale-force winds have left thousands of homes without power and caused problems for travellers across the UK.

All flights to and from Southampton airport have been suspended because of high winds. Dozens of rail services have also been delayed or cancelled.

The BBC's Helen Fawkes spoke to Robin Gisby, from Network Rail, at Euston station.
