Michael Schumacher 'fighting for his life'

Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher is still in a medically-induced coma and "fighting for his life" following a skiing accident, doctors have confirmed.

The seven-time Formula 1 champion was skiing off-piste with his son in the French Alps on Sunday morning when the accident occurred.

Doctors at the hospital in Grenoble where he is being treated say he had lesions on his brain and that he remains in a "critical condition".
