Ukraine unrest: 'On the frontline' of Kiev protests
Ukraine's capital has seen a series of protests, some violent, since November, when President Viktor Yanukovych pulled out of a trade deal with the EU in favour of a $15bn (£9bn) bailout from Russia.
Sergei Sklyarenko, who is based in the United States, flew back to Kiev two weeks ago to see family members. He described the situation there as "extremely, extremely dangerous".
He is now in the UK and came to the BBC's London studios to share footage he shot on his mobile and speak about his experiences.
