Europe watches Swiss immigration vote

Immigration has long been a controversial and emotive issue in Switzerland, and voters are set go to the polls on Sunday in a nationwide referendum.

They will decide whether the country should abandon its free movement of people treaty with the European Union and introduce strict quotas for foreign workers.

Switzerland is not a member of the EU, but has adopted large sections of EU policy.

Imogen Foulkes reports from Zurich.
