Ukraine crisis: Woman tries to stop KGB statue vandals
Anti-government demonstrators have defaced a monument to KGB officers in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
Protesters spray-painted the words 'Ukrainians' blood is on them' across the statue and used sledgehammers to remove metal letters from its base.
Soviet Russian monuments across the country have been under attack in recent days, seen by many protesters as symbols of the Russian influence they oppose.
However, tensions are running high between the revolutionaries and those that remain loyal to the government, with one woman stepping in to try to stop the vandalism.
