Turkey PM 'tapped calls fabricated by the police'

Turkey's prime minister has accused his enemies in the police of trying to bring him and his AKP government down.

It follows the emergence of a recording in which Recep Tayyip Erdogan is supposedly heard telling his son in a telephone call to dispose of millions of euros in cash.

Mr Erdogan insists the recording is a fake and has promised to punish those responsible.
