Ukraine crisis: Pro-Russian forces stand firm in Crimea

The ousted Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych, has criticised Western powers for supporting what he describes as "bandits" who seized power in Ukraine last month.

His warning comes as US and EU officials meet in London to discuss possible sanctions in response to the crisis in Ukraine.

Meanwhile pro-Russian forces are consolidating their hold on the Crimean peninsula.
