Ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has condemned the US for supporting a "bandit regime", and says that he will return to Kiev.

Speaking at a news conference in Russia, Mr Yanukovych said the Ukrainian presidential elections that have announced for 25 May would be "illegal and unlawful".
