Obama: Brute force will not serve Russia in Ukraine

US President Barack Obama has urged Russia to take a diplomatic path in its future international actions.

He was speaking after talks in Brussels with EU leaders resulted in a warning of further sanctions against Russia if they made further incursions into Ukraine.
