Queen meets Pope Francis at the Vatican

The Queen has met Pope Francis for the first time, during a one-day visit to Rome.

The BBC's Rome correspondent Alan Johnston said this visit was different to previous royal visits to the Vatican: "Pope Francis has not a great deal of time for pomp and protocol and that was all kept to a minimum."
