Hague: Eastern Ukraine facing 'very dangerous situation'
Russia is "complicit" in the "well-organised" protests taking place in eastern Ukraine, William Hague has said.
The foreign secretary told the Today programme that this amounted to a "very dangerous situation".
Mr Hague commended Ukraine's "restraint" so far, but stressed that the country must make "its own decisions" over its future response.
He added that the UK is also willing to make "sacrifices" to impose further economic sanctions on Russia.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Tuesday 15 April.
