Volunteers join Ukraine's border guard

Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have been located on the border with Russia, joined by enthusiastic volunteer defenders.

The commanding officers maintain that the troops are engaged in training exercises, but for some local people they are providing a reassuring presence.
