Ukrainian volunteers in training for reserve army

Volunteers in the Ukraine have begun preparations for their own defence amid fears the Ukrainian military is unable to match Russian forces.

The self-organised reservist army, made up of ordinary civilians, are training to fight "shoulder to shoulder" with the Ukrainian army.

Officials from the country's security council have insisted that the Ukrainian army is capable.
