Ukraine crisis: Pro-Russian says operation will spread
A large rally in support of Ukrainian unity in the eastern city of Donetsk has been broken up by armed pro-Russian activists, wielding clubs, iron bars and chains.
Dozens of people were injured when several hundred men dressed in military fatigues and shouting "Russia" stormed into the demonstration.
Earlier Hennadiy Kernes, the Mayor of Kharkiv, another city in the east of the country, was shot and critically wounded.
