Ukraine unrest: Abducted OSCE observers freed

One of the military observers seized by pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine said he had been treated "as good as possible" before being freed on Saturday.

Axel Schneider said he thought "enormous effort" went into securing his release, along with six other military observers.

"According to the word given by the mayor, we have been treated as good as possible," he added.

Another man said he was "longing to get back home" to his loved ones.
