Ukraine: 'Hired men' shot troops, Ukrainian General says
Ukrainian soldiers have suffered the biggest loss of life so far during the crisis in the east of the country.
At least 13 have been killed, and dozens more injured, in an attack by pro-Russian forces with three days now until the country's presidential elections.
The attack took place at a military checkpoint on the outskirts of the town of Volnovakha, 20 miles south of Donetsk.
Mark Lowen reports.
