European election: National Front predicted to win in France

The polls have now closed in the 28 member states voting in the European election.

The exit polls are showing far right and Eurosceptic parties are set to make sweeping gains.

In France, the National Front (FN) leader Marine Le Pen claimed to be in the lead.
