Ukraine conflict: Donetsk fighting hampers MH17 investigation

Heavy fighting between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russia rebels around Donetsk has prevented international experts from reaching the MH17 plane crash site.

Government troops in eastern Ukraine say they have taken a strategic town near Donetsk amid heavy fighting with separatists.

Meanwhile G7 leaders say Russia will face further economic sanctions if it continues to support rebels in Ukraine.
