Ukraine crisis: Many leave threatened city of Mariupol

The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is in Brussels to discuss the ongoing crisis in his country with EU leaders.

Mr Poroshenko has called on the European Union to deliver an "appropriate response" against Russia after it was accused of deploying troops inside Ukraine.

Ukraine says that regular Russian troops have captured the south-eastern town of Novoazovsk.

Pro-Russian separatists have also threatened to take the city of Mariupol, as Juri Vendik reports.
