Brett King thanks British public ahead of Ashya's treatment

Brain tumour patient Ashya King is in the Czech Republic ahead of his planned proton beam treatment.

The five-year-old left hospital in Malaga, Spain, in an ambulance before being flown by private jet.

His parents have fought for Ashya to have the specialised Proton Beam Therapy, removing him from Southampton General Hospital on 28 August after disagreeing with doctors about his treatment.

Ashya's father, Brett King, has thanked the British public for "opening doors" for the family.
