Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic to make final statement

The former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic is due to make his final statements at his trial in The Hague.

He is facing 11 charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity allegedly committed during the Balkans conflict in the early 1990s.

One of the charges relates to the Srebrenica massacre in which thousands of Muslim men and boys as young as 12 were executed.
