Spain's richest duchess dies aged 88

Spain's richest woman the Duchess of Alba has died aged 88.

Maria del Rosario Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart had more titles than any other aristocrat and owned palaces and an extensive property portfolio.

There was public controversy in 2011 when she married Alfonso Diez, 24 years her junior.

She died at home on Thursday after a short illness.
