Thousands to protest over water charges in Ireland

Campaigners say they expect tens of thousands of people to protest across Ireland on Wednesday as part of a national day of demonstration against water charges.

Even though the charges, which will be introduced next month, are among the lowest in Europe, many insist they will not pay.
